This book should totally change the way a Christian views following Christ. God has been leading us to more of a missions mindset for awhile now. I...We read this book as couples in our small group. It is an eye opening book. There are alot of amazing truths in this book. It will rock your world. It should. We are no longer content with living for ourselves. We were not saved to keep it for ourselves, but to live to share with others. We are less materialistic. It will all pass away. But the souls that we reach in Christ's name will not! We are blessed to be part of a church body that is very mission oriented. God called us to homeschool and He is opening us and our childrens hearts to missions. I hate that I had gone so many years being comfortable. And that was it. We do not spiritually grow in the mist of comfort, but just the opposite. My life is not my own, so I want to live it out for Him alone. I could go on and on. But it all boils down to this quote, that I love.... “The price is certainly high for people who don’t know Christ and who live in a world where Christians shrink back from self-denying faith and settle into self-indulging faith.
